Had an incredible meal that hit all the right notes. The jalapeño poppers were a standout starter — crispy on the outside with just the right kick of spice to get things going. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour, while the brisket burger was juicy and satisfying. But the real star of the meal was the lamb shoulder — tender, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. Everything was perfectly complemented by a few cold Coronas with lime. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for bold flavours and a great vibe.
Such a hidden gem in Ipswich! Unbelievably good Venezuelan food - everything we had was so delicious! Exceptional quality and wonderful staff too. The owner was so friendly. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend and can’t believe I’ve only just discovered it! 💯🙌🏼

They’re so kind and thoughtful with our pup, which makes the experience even more special. Also, for special occasions they offer an option to pre-order specific dishes, and it’s absolutely worth it. We ordered natilla and buñuelos and we couldn’t be happier—extremely good! Highly recommended. We’ll definitely keep coming back.
this is my favourite restaurant in Ipswich!! so lucky to have such amazing food so close to home. everything we have tried here has been amazing, but we especially love the mixed grill plate. highly recommend! food aside the staff are always super lovely and welcoming, always such a nice treat to have dinner or lunch here.
Stopped in for a late lunch, service was amazing from the moment we walked in. Greeted with a friendly smile into a wonderful little venue. Ordered the Churrasco, Grilled Corn Cobs and Brisket Bacon Burger and were very pleased with the portion sizes, freshness of the salad and quality of everything on the plate. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, salad was fresh and well-dressed, chips were crisp and the chimichurri was spectacular - very fresh and bright with the perfect bit of heat. Burger was incredibly tasty, not even a little dry and everything was made with such care. We even managed to snag an item that was off-menu and were so grateful! Food made with real love. If you're hesitant, don't be. There will be something you'll love. Give them a try. This place is way less busy than it ought to be for the quality of the food and the service.
Had an excellent meal at La Parilla. I ordered the mixed grill and it was fantastic – great variety and everything was cooked perfectly. My partner ordered the steak and it was cooked beautifully, exactly how it should be. For entrée we had the pork belly and the mozzarella sticks, and honestly they were the best we’ve ever had. Crispy, full of flavour, and a perfect start to the meal. Great food, great experience – we’ll definitely be back.
This was a last minute dinner plans with family, and it was the best decision ever. The food was melt in the mouth delicious and worth every penny paid. The service was excellent too. Thank you for a lovely evening.
First timers here tonight for birthday dinner… food was exceptional and service was spot on. Entree had the Brisket Empanada’s and delighted with the taste, mains Ribs & Wings and Pork Shoulder (shared between both of us, so could try variety) delicious.. will be a repeat customers. ⭐️
We order the Loco Family box, Empanadas and some very good smoothies with natural flavours not too much sugar. The food was really good, the BBQ ribs were nice and not too aggressive, the meat overall was nice.
From the moment you walk into the door the service is impeccable. The care we received throughout our meal was amazing. The meat is cooked to perfection, the sides are seasoned well, the side sauces were a perfect accompaniment. We ordered twice, didn't wait for food long, good amount of parking. Will be back.
